Some Good News For Liberals In Latest Ekos Poll...
You can only drop another 25.7% in the polls, which should happen by Halloween given the way Iffy has been leading the party. Once you hit 0% there's only one way to go....up!
When you think about it, none of them have been GREAT for Canada, since Pearson.
Success for the Liberals, means keeping one region satisfied and then THEY feel, arrogantly successful.
It's old, so yesterday and yet Canadians have continued to be suckered into the guilt trip that the Liberals lay at our feet.
I think this needs to be it. Canadians, need to perform the equivalent of an intervention, political style so that this country can work at being a family again or those that must, cut their loses and move on!
That Liberal beast can rise up out of the ashes, when you least expect it, (usually aided by their ever luvin' media) so only a short relaxation period is allowed!! lol
Watched CBC At Issue tonight, Coyne was certainly agitated, must be because when Libs and Cons are not hopelessly locked in a tie, his 'democracy is broken' just isn't a pressing issue.

Very true Bec, in the days of Trudeau, Chretien & Martin the Liberals knew that all they had to do was to appease Quebec and urban Toronto ethnic vote, with a little help from the Maritimes to form majority governments; thus neglect of the western provinces and rural Canada was the norm for the Libs. Times have changed now the west is now becoming the economic engine of Canada, and the ethnic voters know that they can now vote conservative without being deported, a myth constantly pushed by the Libs.
I know this is a little off topic, but Conrad Black had an interesting article today Oct 14/2009 regarding Barack Obama the guru that all lefty politicians figure Canada should be emulating. I hope that we never get to Obama's plan. It was a lengthy article however I have included to excerpts for discussion and the website.
The $787-billion stimulus plan was a monstrosity of patronage and logrolling. The money that was borrowed (to stimulate, in reality, Democratic re-election prospects) has been taken from purposes that would have stimulated the economy just as efficiently. Larry Summers could not have believed his promises of instant results that would confine unemployment to 8%. Two-thirds of the stimulus is for dispersal closer to elections, and meanwhile unemployment is knocking at the door of 10%. The whole misconceived idea should be scrapped and replaced with tax cuts, but it won't be.
The cap-and-trade bill is so loaded with rebates and exemptions that the administration's own spokesmen acknowledge that while it would sharply raise heating and air-conditioning costs in tens of millions of American homes, it would neither raise federal-government revenues nor reduce carbon emissions. It was based on the unproved Al Gore science-fiction vision of the environment, and it won't pass.

Yes but he didn't eat the wafer...
Iggy's doing worse than Dion and Dion was suppose to be the worst leader the liberals ever had.
