Toronto Star On Top Of Allegations Against Former Liberal Cabinet Minister Joe Fontana
Sorry, no results were found that match your criteria
Yeah and good ol anything Liberal-except-anything-scandalous-Will-from-NationalNewswatch can find only sources from QMI affiliates and then a quiet little link to a generic Windsor Star article.
The Liberal news aggregator is still cleaning up its' soiled sheets from all the Justin worship as well.
Considering the serious nature of the allegations, I would expect the local media (there is a local paper, TV station and a large number of radio stations in the mainstream media category)to have been all over this.
Sadly, the issue was raised more as a "gotcha!" piece, then dropped. By the time any real investigation is done (regardless of the outcome) the Mayor will have his name smeared on the say so of one "gotcha!"
The lack of attention by the media is symptomatic more of laziness than anything else, and the issue of the Mayor's guilt or innocence is thrown to the court of public opinion without any true investigation.
Regardless of what you may think of Mayor Fontana, allegations of this nature need much more
